FUSER CULTURE
A comfortable work environment, opportunities for personal growth, a close-knit team, and individual respect are hallmarks of our culture.
Casual Atmosphere
Fuser prides itself on a casual, yet productive environment. One of the great things about being a startup is that the focus is on the quality of your work, not what you're wearing. Additionally, our employees enjoy a variety of free drinks from our big cooler, free lunches the week leading up to a release, and Fuser Festive Fridays (our version of happy hour) a couple of times a month. We believe in celebrating our major accomplishments, like the Open House party we threw in June to christen our brand new loft-style office and recognize a major software release. Oh, and being a block off Pearl Street in downtown Boulder, CO doesn't hurt either!
Professional Development
Fuser has a commitment to developing the individual through continued learning and skill development. Being part of a small company means your ideas and interests are needed and encouraged. People who are adaptable with a desire for accountability and responsibility thrive in our environment. At Fuser we focus on effective systems and processes, such as the Agile/Scrum development method. We believe this process helps us excel both as a team and individuals. By the way, working for a small company doesn't mean their aren't chances to move up – we've made three promotions in our short one year history.
Team Orientation
One of the best things about Fuser is the opportunity it provides to work with other smart, innovative people. Our Development and Quality Engineering teams work closely together to ensure maximum efficiency, and members of both teams also participate in our User Experience team. Yes, we work hard. We're not tackling easy tasks around here. We enjoy difficult challenges of all sorts.
Respect of the individual
At Fuser, we want to support our customers and employees in their endeavors. For employees, it means supporting them (and their families), their health and mental well-being, and being flexible when it counts. For customers, it means valuing their opinions and empowering them with tools that simplify their online lives. We want to have a positive impact on all the individuals with whom we come into contact.
