Eric Wu – Vice President of Product Management

As Fuser’s Vice President of Product Management, Eric Wu is responsible for leading the company’s product development efforts. Eric brings over a decade of high-tech experience to Fuser, with a particular focus on planning, developing and delivering successful consumer technology products.

Prior to joining Fuser, Eric served as a senior product manager at Webroot Software Inc., a leading Internet security provider. There, he was responsible for a product portfolio that included consumer security applications as well as Webroot’s first network perimeter anti-spyware product line. In this role, Eric drove product deliverables to satisfy the needs of both strategic retail partners (including Best Buy, Circuit City and Staples) and strategic OEM partners (including Dell and Ironport). Prior to his tenure at Webroot Software, Eric held product management and product planning roles at Seagate Technology which included responsibility for a product line representing $85 million in new revenue. In 2004 he was recognized for his innovation and leadership in the planning, development and successful launch of Seagate’s first branded consumer product line.

Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University and his MBA and MS from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In his spare time, Eric is active in the fitness community and is a certified CrossFit Trainer and a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. When he is not helping people reach their training goals he has been known to travel to exotic places in search of the perfect street food.
